You might might have heard about the concept of Manifesting, in fact, during lockdown the term ‘manifestation’ peaked on Google searches and has been tagged 13.3 billion times on TikTok. However, there is a new variant, Astro-Manifesting which allows you to align your beliefs and behaviours with the current astrological energy in order to bring to life the outcomes you desire.
This practice, which has been gaining popularity in London, New York and a big group of celebrities including Oprah, claim to help their practitioners develop the tools to a more fulling life. But how can you can start incorporating these principles into your life? Here are some basic principles for you to explore what Astro Manifesting is and to implement them in your day to day life.
What’s Astro Manifesting?
Each zodiac sign has a planetary ruler that naturally corresponds with its energy, and when the planets transit through their ruling signs, they’re usually able to express their cosmic qualities into reality.
Astro-Manifesting is understanding these alignments based on your natal chart and the current planetary energy. For example, during the month of Aries (march 21st - April 19th), you will feel more playful, spontaneous and competitive so you can start utilising this energy to Manifest your dreamed life.
Here are some tips to start living a more purposeful, zen life and incorporate the principles of Astro-Manifesting into your daily routine:
Understand your Meaning of Happiness: It provides a stable foundation and a sense of direction in life. From your day to day activities, which ones give you pleasure or joy? Identify if your life is full of activities which contribute very little to your overall happiness. Try to replace them with those activities that set your soul on fire and help you connect with your inner thoughts.
Renew the energy: In Feng Shui, as well as in the Astro-Manifesting principles, It’s very important to constantly renew the energy. The stagnated energy avoids the new things to come into your life. For example, if your closet or the space you live in is very disorganised you aren’t allowing the universe to provide you with new energy in which everything flows and occupies a meaningful space in your house. Before New Moon, it’s very important to clean the house and to avoid keeping lots of belongings under the bed, as it’s believed this can affect your sleep based on Feng Shui traditions. You should also keep an Aloe Vera plant in a red pot in your house (ideally close to the main entrance door) to absorb the bad energy and purify the space.
Find your Eudamonic Wellbeing: Eudamonic Wellbeing is a broad term used by positive psychologists to refer to the happiness we gain from having meaning and purpose in our lives. It’s believe that pursuing engagement or meaning can bring you more long term happiness than finding immediate pleasure. That’s why, it’s very important in life to write your Life Manifesto. Especially during New Moon days, in which the energy allows you new beginnings. For your Life Manifesto you need to list your core values, strengths and weakness and identify what makes you drive and feel connected with your purpose. In moments you’re feeling lost, or anxiety might intensify, I always recommend to go back to your life purpose and reconnect with your source.
Set your monthly intentions: Prioritise your priorities and what you would like to achieve for the month. This will help you to be focused and aligned with what you want to achieve. For example, during Aries season, you can set your goals around your professional career.
Cultivate your relationships: Caring and supportive interpersonal relationships are essential to your wellbeing. Do an act of kindness for am loved one. Or write an spontaneous letter to a friend and post it as a surprise. Write down what do you love about them. What characteristics of their personality are you proud about? Their reaction will totally feel more connected and help you appreciate the role they occupy in your life.
Reduce your negativity bias: We have a strong tendency to pay more attention and give more weight to negative emotions, than the positive ones. This means that you’re more likely to remember an insult, or a critic, rather than the positive aspects of your day. At the end of the day, reflect or journal about the positive aspects of your life. By doing this you can shift your awareness from the negative to the positive.
Practice waning moon ritual: A good time for self reflection and gratitude is during the waning moon, as the energy helps you to deal with your self-reflecting thoughts. A fantastic ritual during this period is to write a list of what you want to manifest, or your biggest dreams and plant them in a forest or in the garden. Whilst you do that, you should try to leave all your negative beliefs behind and use the grounding energy of the soil to help you reset your thoughts. The waning moon is also the best time to practise any self-care or to look after yourself, so don’t think twice for booking a sound healing experience or a pampering massage.
Find your mantra: Your thoughts and your energy can create your reality. If you are constantly being negative and feeling down, then you are going to attract and manifest negative energy. By repeating a positive mantra you can raise your energy and change the narrative in your mind.
Live Intentional, Live Possible: Cut out of any toxic energy and always stay truthful to your purpose. We recommend complimenting your journey with setting intentions that will shape the person you want to become. For instance, decreasing your meat intake if you want to become a more mindful eater; practicing breathwork if you want to become a more rooted person; daily habit tracking if you want to become a more productive person.
Download the Manifesting App on the App Store: The app features daily manifesting tasks to help you through your Astro Manifesting journey and includes a 15 mins complimentary session once you subscribe.
Always remember: It takes courage to bloom. Trust yourself and your journey. You’re in the right path.
